NANDITHA ACHARYA

Originally hailing from Puttur, Mrs. Nanditha Acharya moved to Mangalore for her Graduation in Business management from SDM College.

She did her MBA from TAPMI, Manipal. She worked with Brands like Loreal, Bhima and brother jewellers, G.L Acharya jewellers in various roles such as market research executive, sales trainee etc.

After getting selected from campus and placed in TVS motor company in the position of Sales manager handling Scooty for Hyderabad territory.Nanditha headed several marketing campaigns and activations.

She moved back to mangalore after her marriage and together with her husband Mr. Vijesh. V. Shetty, she launched the brand Zari Couture over a decade back. The brand started gaining popularity for its unique hand picked ethnic wear for women. She popularized the concept of mix n match with a wide range of fabrics sourced from all over India. Soon they launched a branch of the same in City Centre mall which later got relaunched as Avanthika by Zari couture. She headed a marketing campaign with a unique contest called Face of Zari and many ladies from in and around mangalore competed for the title. Zari couture was one of the foremost local brand that had a strong social media presence. 2 years ago, she launched a kidswear store called Zari Junior for which she procured and curated the merchandise personally.

She has been invites for talks and as a guest for events in Infosys, Alavas college Moodabidri, SDM College etc.

She has several plans for future expansion and diversification.

She lives in mangalore with her husband and 2 children Vardhan and Avanthika.
